Some Discoveries
After digging down a few inches in the hallway, once the rotted floorboards were removed, I found a few bones. The pelvis looks to be from a cat. Lovely! :)
Also, upon digging by the door of the mews in the back garden, more bones were found.
Euuuuuuwwwwwwww. And awwwwwww. Maybe some pets buried by prior owners over the years, although surely the one underneath the rotted floor boards in that little "hall" leading to the "return" had to have been buried before the "return" was added to the original structure. I mean - who would bury a pet INSIDE a house?????
